A scholar of political science, focused on the dynamics that shape power, institutions, and public life.
I am interested in democratization, state–society relations, political violence, geopolitics, and the politics of development. My research interests span topics from regimes and state capacity to political parties and socio-political determinants.
My additional interests in economics and philosophy navigate questions that intersect comparative and international affairs, analyzing liberties, policies, and strategies.
